What to expect if something needs a repair or replacement.
1. Reach out first
Email info@rvtesters.com with your order info and what's going on. We'll send you a Return Authorization (RA) number and instructions. This always happens before you ship anything back to us.
2. We take care of it
What happens next depends on how long you've owned the tool. See the timeline below.
3. Ship it back with your RA#
We'll give you the return address and next steps once your RA# is issued. Items shipped to us without an RA# can't be accepted, so always start with step 1.
Coverage by Age of Purchase
0-6 months: Free. We ship your replacement right away, with a prepaid label for sending the old unit back. Just get the old one back to us within 30 days.
6-12 months: Free. We repair or replace it, our call, usually within 10 business days of getting it. You cover shipping it to us; we cover the rest, including shipping it back.
12-24 months: Flat fee. We repair or replace it, our call, for a flat service fee (typically $10-$125 depending on the tool) plus return shipping. We'll quote the exact fee with your RA#.
Good to Know
- Cables, adapters, carrying cases, and other included accessories have their own 30-day free replacement window from your purchase date.
- Coverage applies to normal use. Damage from abuse or neglect, or units missing components, aren't covered.
- Have your order number and the tool's serial number ready when you reach out. It speeds things up.
